Another appellation, already the 34th, was recently announced for Georgian wines.
Kisi Margiani is an area of controlled origin for wine, covering the villages of Magraani, Pichkhovani, Argokhi and Babaneuri, which are located in Kakheti at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains.
Wines produced under this appellation are made from the Kisi variety.
They can only be dry, white or amber (produced in Qvevri).
