“Made in qvevri – this time only natural” is the slogan of this year’s edition of meetings at Srebrna Góra vineyard.
The inspiration for the event was our Made in qvevri project. Following the profile Poznaj Smak Gruzji, you can find about 10/12 minute movies – it is our authorial film that shows you the secrets of the production of the qvevri vessel itself, and technology of wine production.
During the event:
We had the pleasure to present wines produced using the traditional georgian method, the oldest known method of wine production. The uniqueness is expressed especially in the case of wines produced from white varieties. Such wines are referred as orange wines (amber wine) or skin contact wine.
In Georgian skin contact can be called contact with the mother (deda) that is what the chacha is (skins) and thanks to the skins we get a characteristic color and stronger tannins.
We would like to thanks to the Hosts – Winnica Srebrna Góra, that our guests, mainly from the HoReCa industry, could enjoy a great wine and delicious food on the territory of Srebrna Góra.
Important part of event was the music of the well-known Polish music Producer and DJ Jaroz,and food preaperd by Zbigniew Kmieć-naturalist, and experimentalist at the kitchen.
Workshop:
During the event, guests could create their own miniature of qvevri, under the watchful eye of Adam from the Żywa Pracownia- the star of our film.
